yesterday i went out to take some photos of these lovelies in my neighbor's flowers. but while i was out, i discovered the following cuties in my own backyard...a whole family or possibly two, of baby chickadees learning how to fly. the yellow finches were beautiful, but kind of snooty, while these little babies reminded me of a huge fun family, with an over-anxious mum, and an eager dad cheering his kids on, and the kids all excited to learn something new and grown up. i loved them.
